Czech Windows

This photo was taken in 2004 during my first visit to the Czech Republic.  Artistic valor aside (it got at least a blue ribbon at the Story County Fair), it documents the beginning of my fascination with Czech windows.  In 2010, after having not been to the Czech Republic since 2005, you can imagine my wonder when I saw a new kind of window, a window of such engineering genius that it left me awestruck.  I then shared the joy of this seemingly magical window with my sisters when they visited in May.  We even made a video to share the wonder with the world.  (Perhaps this will be the beginning of an occasional video blog post.)
